Access to vaccines is at risk. Add your comment to ACIP now.

Add your voice to the pro-vaccine majority.

Time is running out. The CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) is accepting public comments now, and your voice is urgently needed.

RFK Jr.’s ACIP poses a serious threat to children’s vaccine access. His appointees—selected specifically for their anti-vaccine positions—now have the authority to reshape the recommendations families, clinicians, and communities rely on to stay protected. The upcoming meeting could trigger sweeping consequences for how Americans access vaccines and receive accurate, science-based information about immunizations. We need every pro-vaccine advocate to speak up now.

Use the form below to submit a brief comment. It’s important to write a comment in your own words because those statements are considered more seriously than form statements. Please refer to our talking points below the form and add your own perspective.

Talking Points for Your Comment to ACIP

The following talking points are based on what we expect the upcoming ACIP meeting to address, plus information for advocates who may want to address CDC’s recent decision to promote disinformation about autism on their website. Please feel free to include your own concerns.

Hepatitis B Vaccine Birth Dose

  • RFK Jr.’s ACIP has already expressed intentions to remove the recommendation for the hepatitis B vaccine birth dose, which would limit access to that vaccine and immediately undermine a cornerstone of infant protection.

  • The birth dose of the hepatitis B vaccine protects newborns from a 90% chance of a lifetime battle with hepatitis B infection, which can cause liver failure and cancer.

  • The birth dose recommendation and its inclusion in the Vaccines for Children program ensures all families—regardless of hospital, location, or insurance—have equal protection.

Vaccine Ingredients

  • Vaccine ingredients are extensively studied, publicly disclosed, and used at levels shown to be safe through decades of rigorous scientific evaluation.

  • Families deserve clear, accessible explanations of what’s in vaccines and why each component is used. Transparent communication empowers people to make informed decisions and strengthens trust.

  • It’s important that ACIP bases its decisions on solid, up-to-date evidence when addressing ingredient concerns. A consistent commitment to science-driven decision-making will help maintain public confidence.

Routine Childhood Immunization Schedule

  • Undermining the childhood immunization schedule by rejecting established scientific evidence would weaken access to routine vaccines that have protected children for generations. When evidence-based recommendations disappear at the federal level, it destabilizes the systems that ensure we all have access to vaccines.

  • Families rely on clear, evidence-based recommendations to understand what vaccines their children need and when. Rejecting the scientific consensus erodes trust, introduces uncertainty, and makes it harder for parents to make informed, confident decisions about their children’s health.

  • The routine childhood schedule isn’t arbitrary—it reflects decades of rigorous data showing how to prevent measles, meningitis, pertussis, and other serious diseases. Ignoring this evidence risks reversing hard-won public health progress.

Disinformation about Autism

  • There is no evidence linking vaccines and autism. This has been proven repeatedly through decades of research. Reopening this false debate puts families at risk, increases shame and stigma, and delays the important work of researching promising, evidence-based science that could help us better understand and support people with autism.

  • Families deserve honesty and professionalism from CDC and ACIP. Public health agencies must communicate clearly, follow the evidence, and protect the systems families rely on.

  • RFK Jr.’s agenda threatens public health. His efforts to insert misinformation into federal health agencies endanger communities and destabilize essential vaccine policies.

  • Please listen to the concerns of parents, clinicians, and advocates who want a CDC and an ACIP that strengthen—rather than undermine—public health and scientific integrity.
